This report is a summary of the efforts of fourteen universities to educate nursing service administrators, supported in part or in whole by funds from the W. K. Kellogg Foundation. The 1950s were a time of great change for the nursing profession as improvements in treatment following World War Two, growth of patient services, and a nursing shortage, prompted investigations like the ones in this book. The fourteen participating universities were: The University of Chicago, Wayne State University, Western Reserve University, University of Iowa, University of Minnesota, University of Washington, University of Colorado, St. Louis University, University of Texas, University of Mississippi, University of Pittsburgh, Syracuse University, Boston University, and Columbia University. The study deals with curriculum objectives for master's and bachelor's programs, learning and field experiences for administration programs, and more. From the nursing history collection of Sarah Abrams. Hardcover, very good condition. 240 pages, octavo.\u003c\/body\u003e","brand":"W. K.
