Roundabout's Children's Collection

Imagine coming into a calm, inviting place to look at books with your children--a place where time seems to stand still while you're browsing, and there are places to sit and read, or to even to play. It's a place without the intrusion of digital media, and a place where you can find both the classics, and the finest new books. It's here, in Roundabout's children's section.

We consult with educators and librarians to source the best new children's books. Many of these are picture books, but we also seek out excellent children's nonfiction, graphic novels, and YA. We're stocking books that focus on diverse cultures, inclusion, and social issues, and books that are fun for all ages. 

Our used children's collection is extensive, and it may promote nostalgia! In chapter books, favorite authors are always in stock, including Beverly Cleary, Mildred Taylor, Leo Lionni, Eric Carle, Ezra Jack Keats, Mo Willems, Katherine Peterson, Lincoln Peirce, E.L. Konigsburg, and so many more.

Series books are eternal favorites. Were you into The Baby-Sitter's Club? Or Goosebumps? Maybe you remember the many mystery series of the 20th century--we don't just have Nancy Drew and Hardy boys, we also often have the Bobbsey Twins, Trixie Belden, and even occasionally Cherry Ames.
