Contains the stamps, markings, barcode, card pocket, and tape of the Gulf Coast Junior College Library of Panama City, Florida. Interior pages contain some marginalia in ink. Black Rain (黒い雨, Kuroi Ame) is a novel by Japanese author Ibuse Masuji (1898-1993). He began serializing Black Rain in the magazine Shincho in January 1965. The novel is based on historical records of the devastation caused by the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Ibuse was awarded the Noma Prize and the Order of Cultural Merit for this novel.
