Randolph Tucker, Governor J. B. Gordon, General Fitzhugh Lee, Maj. Thomas W. Hall, and many others. There are also appendices with some of the writings of Jefferson Davis, and editorials, memorials and obituaries of Davis. Jefferson Davis (1808-1889) was the only president of the Confederate States, between 1861 and 1865. Hardcover, acceptable condition. 490 pages, octavo.
