Original green cloth binding with gilt text and decoration on spine and cover that has almost disappeared with wear. Spine is torn at hinges, hinges are loose, and cover is heavily worn. Heathered brown pastedowns match the paper for the tipped-in illustrations. Pages are tanned but unmarked. The text is all at the front, followed by the illustration pages. This is one of four major literary works by Barrie featuring the widely known literary character he created, Peter Pan. Most of the text originally appeared as chapters 13–18 of Barrie's 1902 novel The Little White Bird. Hardcover, acceptable condition, 8 illustrations missing. 126 pages of text followed by 49 illustrations, or which 42 are still present. Large square octavo.
