Light foxing on pastedowns and flyleaf. Evidence of minor dampstain at top edge. Interior pages are unmarked and in good condition; binding is firm. William Sharp (1855-1905) was a Scottish writer, of poetry and literary biography in particular, who from 1893 wrote also as Fiona Macleod, a pseudonym kept mostly secret during his lifetime. He also edited the poetry of Ossian, Walter Scott, Algernon Swinburne, and others. This small volume contains: The Weird of Michael Scott, The Son of Allan, Mad Madge O'Cree, The Deith-Tide, Phantasy, The Willis-Dancers, A Dream, The Wandering Voice, The Twin-Soul, and The Death-Child. Hardcover, acceptable condition due to minor dampstain. 87 pages, 12mo.
