Gilt lettering and decoration on spine. Leather scuffed at spine and corners. Marbled paper boards lightly worn at edges. Interior in very good condition, except front endpaper split at hinge and showing mesh. Page fore-edges are deckled, top-edges are gilded. This 6th volume of a ten-volume set is from the fourth edition, printed circa 1880. Alexander Dyce (1798–1869) was a Scottish writer and scholar, known for his books on Shakespeare.
