Substantial damage to the leather, especially at corners and on spine; leather at hinges is cracked. Boards are scuffed. Water damage to inside front hinge area. Marbleized page edges, matching marbleized endpapers in blue, brown, and pink. Interior contents in good condition. Pages are moderately foxed, but otherwise unmarked, and stitching is firm. Title continues: with extensive explanatory, critical, and philological notes selected from Scott, Doddridge, Gill, Adam Clarke, Patrick, Poole, Lowthe, Burder, Harmer, Calmet, Stuart, Robinson, Bush, Rosenmueller, Bloomfield, and many other writers on the scriptures.
