The omitted books in this abridged version are an account of the settlement of Virginia and New England, which the preface notes are not truly connected with this work, and are fragments of a larger work Robertson planned, but never finished, on British America. Contains a memoir of the author entitled the Life and Writings of William Robertson, by Dugald Stewart, F.R.S.E. Hardcover, acceptable condition with dampstain. 551 pages, 24mo.
