This volume contains documents relating to Hamilton's position as aide-de-camp to General Washington, his correspondence on military and political matters, his quarrel with Washington, his involvement in the final campaign of the Revolution at Yorktown, his friendship with and love letters to Elizabeth Schuyler, letters concerning the treachery of Benedict Arnold, and much more.
