The contents of this second volume include new themes and modern gems principally for soft stops; preludes, postludes, and hymn tunes of a cheerful character; wedding, festive, and national music; and plaintive and requiem music. Albert Wilhelm Berg (1825-1907), a New York organist, studied at the Paris Conservatory and taught music in New York. He was a writer and musical compiler for William Pond & Co., and organist for the Protestant Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, New York. Hardcover, acceptable condition. 136 pages, horizontal quarto.
