Description: Illustrated. Original red cloth binding with black illustration and text on front board and spine. Slight pest damage to spine, spine ends are crushed, tips exposed, and boards are dirty. Contains a dedication on flyleaf in ink. Interior of the book is well-used: there are pencil marks, doodles, a few torn or damaged pages. One illustration is colored with crayon, and another was damaged with an eraser. A few pages are completely loose. Many pages show some spotting or smudges. The stories are readable, however, and many of the illustrations are undamaged. The stories included in this book include Danny and his Red Express Wagon, How a Little-Bit-of-aBoy Caught a Fish for Shabbos, How Danny Marched on Simchas Torah, The Chanukah Lights, The Train that Knew about Pesach, Judith Takes a Shabbos Walk, How Danny was a Carpenter for Real, The Story of Danny's Ethrog, The Sparrow's Party, and more. Sadie Weilerstein (1894-1993) was the author of The K'tonton stories, including The Adventures of K'tonton: A Little Jewish Tom Thumb, as well as a number of other books, including What the Moon Brought, and Ten and a Kid.
